Jeremy Irvin, LCSW, M.Ed., CST, CSTS

Clinical Social Worker

Jeremy Irvin (he/him) is the owner of the Idaho Institute of Gender and Sex Therapy in Boise, Idaho. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has more than 13 years of experience providing therapy services to marginalized communities. He holds both a Master of Social Work and a Master of Education in Human Sexuality from Widener University. He is an AASECT certified Sex Therapist and Supervisor as well as a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH).

Clinical Supervision (for Idaho)

We provide clinical supervision for therapists in Idaho who are working towards their clinical endorsement who want a space that integrates identity-affirming care, relational work, and trauma-informed practice. Our supervision style is supportive, curious, and collaborative, with an emphasis on you becoming the ideal therapist that you want to be.

The Idaho Institute of Gender and Sex Therapy is proud to offer supervision for clinicians pursuing certification through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT). Our team includes AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist Supervisors who are committed to supporting practitioners in building a grounded, inclusive, and embodied sex therapy practice.

Key Info for AASECT Supervision Candidates

We welcome licensed mental health professionals across the U.S. who are seeking to become Certified Sex Therapists (CSTs).

Our supervision process integrates clinical depth, critical reflection, and practical application, all grounded in sex-positive, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA2S+ affirming care.

  • Open to licensed mental health professionals nationwide
  • Candidates must be active AASECT members during the supervision process
  • Licensure must be maintained throughout the certification period
  • AASECT requires 50 hours of supervision, which can be completed with up to two supervisors (one must be designated as your primary supervisor)
  • Supervision typically spans 18 months or more, depending on your training path and clinical caseload
  • We offer individual and group supervision to help you meet your certification goals

We offer one time or ongoing consultation services to clinicians across the United States.

We offer one-time or ongoing consultation for licensed clinicians seeking support with specific cases, clinical dilemmas, or questions related to gender, sex, relationships, or ethical complexity. Whether you’re navigating a challenging relational dynamic, supporting a client through gender transition, or just needing a space to reflect, you’re welcome here.
